When you visit Audiology and Hearing Aid Associates, your hearing will be evaluated by a nationally certified Audiologist. The purpose of this evaluation is to monitor the effectiveness of the ear protection you are using. If you are not using any ear protection, this may show that you need to get started! The hearing evaluation may also indicate the presence of a problem which needs medical attention. Therefore, a hearing evaluation is important to your general health, as well as your ears.

- Audiological Evaluations
Complete hearing testing for ages four to adult. Evaluations include measures of hearing sensitivity for Air and Bone conducted sounds, measures of Speech Discrimination ability and as well as Speech Reception Thresholds. When necessary, assessment of the middle ear function (impedance audiometry), and special testing to determine the location of dysfunction by a certified Audiologist.

Tinnitus is a common condition, where a person experiences a ringing, rushing, or buzzing in the ears. Tinnitus will not cause you to go deaf, but its presence may affect your daily activities.
